Directions to Riverside Park
There are several different ways to get to Riverside Park (which is also known as Comstock Riverside Park). One of the simplest ways from the Forest Hills area to the park is described below.
1. Take I-196 West.
2. From I-196, get onto US 131 North.
3. Take the Ann St. exit.
4. Turn left (East) onto Ann St.
5. Turn left on Monroe Ave.
6. Turn left into Riverside Park.
The main entrance (Boat Launch #2 entrance) is across from Guild St. Note that parking is quite limited during regattas. The closest parking lot to the dock area will be reserved for boat trailers and buses. There are some small parking areas along the road in the park, but most of the available parking will be to the right of the entrance, just after entering the park. It's not all that long of a walk from that parking area to the river, but it can seem long if you are carrying a couple of folding chairs and a cooler. If you would like to park close, come early.
